This is a Noh mask, "Yoroboshi," made by my grandfather, who was a miyadaiku (temple carpenter) in Iwate Prefecture, during his later years at home. His works were highly regarded and were even lent out to temples and stage performances. I am listing this item now as I am organizing the storage of my belongings.
