This item was purchased about 25 years ago from a Tachikui ware workshop in Hyogo Prefecture. I've used it a few times to hold water. It looked lovely with a little bit of sarsaparilla in it. Even though it's not dirty, it looks like it is... It's part of the character, but it doesn't photograph very well.
