I have kept this unused. There is no box, only the main unit and the instruction manual. It can be used in a microwave to cook rice, make soft-boiled eggs, or as a steamer. I think it's perfect for single-person living. It seems like rice can be cooked in about 10 minutes. I think it's good for easy cooking.
