This is a chinrest for a Stüber model by Gerald Crowson. It is made of boxwood. While Guarneri and Stradivari models are well-known, this is a rather rare type. I had it ordered and purchased from Kurosawa Violin about a year ago. I used it for practice, but I found the Guarneri model easier to use, so I switched and stored this one. Therefore, it hasn't been used very often. It cost around 120,000 yen when I bought it, so I think it's a good deal.
