The box and instruction manual are not included. It's a mesh pad, so the hitting sound is relatively quiet. It's recommended for those who are concerned about noise in apartment buildings, etc. Also, because of the mesh tension, it's easier to get a rebound, so I think it's easier to get a good feel than with rubber pads, etc. I will carefully clean it before shipping, but please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to used items. I would appreciate your understanding that this is a used item.
