DIY storage parts that are safe and easy to use, even without special skills. These are adjusters for erecting pillars, the foundation of DIY, by bracing 2x4 lumber between the floor and ceiling. Although not shown in the photos, I've added a washer between the upper hexagon and the wood. So, when assembling the upper part, insert the washer into the bolt before inserting it into the hole. While making it myself, I thought it was normal to insert a washer, so I improved it. The function is the same as commercially available products! Assembly Since it will be shipped disassembled, insert the washer into the bolt as shown in photo 3 and lightly tighten it (don't overtighten), then insert it, and put the washer, nut, nut, and washer in order, and tighten the upper part with a nut. Tools needed 〇 8mm drill (preferably 8.1-8.5mm) 〇 13mm wrench or monkey wrench, etc., a tool to turn the nut 〇 Electric drill or impact driver or Phillips screwdriver 〇 Saw (can be cut at a home center) 〇 Level (there are also apps.) Installation method ① Cut the 2x4 pillar to be about 50mm less than the height of the installation location. ② Drill an 8mm hole, 30mm deep, in the center of the upper part of the 2x4 pillar. (Photos 4.5) ③ Insert the screw side of the adjuster's upper part into the hole in the pillar drilled in ②. (Photo 6) ④ Once positioned in the installation location, stand it vertically (level), and you can brace it by turning the lower nut clockwise with a wrench.
