Thermocouple and thermometer for use with Coffee Roasting Logger Artisan. Improved, the thermocouple converter uses MAX31855K, resulting in better temperature deviation stability and accuracy. Thermocouple: K-type, 5mm diameter, 10cm length stainless steel sleeve, M8 screw, cable length approx. 170cm. The thermometer can be connected to a computer to record data with Artisan. It also works as a standalone thermometer by connecting a mobile charger. While not highly accurate for coffee roasting purposes, it should be sufficient. It has a function to correct for deviations from other thermometers. Artisan Installation: Requires someone capable of USB serial COM port settings and related tasks due to the thermometer driver (CH340). Operation confirmed on Windows 10, 11, and Ubuntu 22.04LTS. User reports of operation on Mac book pro / OS sonoma 14.6.1 have been received. An instruction manual (Windows only) is included. All items are new, but the thermometer is handmade. Does not work with IH cooktops.
