ALPHA INDUSTRIES Alpha Industries Flight Jacket M MADE IN USA MA-1 This is a black-colored flight jacket made by Alpha Industries in the 1980s, which is becoming less common. The zipper is made by IDEAL. This is a model from the mid-1980s, before the current Alpha logo tag was added in the late 1980s. I have owned this jacket for about 40 years, since it was new. I think it's still in good condition and wearable overall. ◾️ Size: M Shoulder width: 47cm Body width: 64cm Length: 61cm Sleeve length: 62cm (including ribbing) Please allow for slight variations as these measurements are taken by a layman. ◾️ Condition There is some pilling, fraying, and minor tears on the ribbing. There are marks from where patches were sewn on the left chest and back, but they are not very noticeable. Please check the images (images 7 and 8). The contract label is worn and unreadable (image 9). The graying of the black zipper tape due to sun exposure is also characteristic of this era and gives it a good faded look.
