This is a Bach Tenor Bass Trombone 42G lightweight with a nickel slide. The bell has a "corporation" engraving, and the serial number 205XX suggests it was manufactured around 1975. A steel wire is inserted in the bell (a magnet will stick to it). The bell is unlacquered. The slide and rotary valves function without issue. There are scratches and plating wear due to age, but there are no dents or damage that would affect playing. (Please check the images). This is a valuable trombone manufactured during Vincent Bach's lifetime. It is fully functional and can be used professionally. (When a professional orchestra player in Tokyo played it, it produced an incredibly powerful sound with a distant limit - this is a personal impression). It will be shipped in an old Yamaha case, wrapped in bubble wrap. A stand is not included. No claims and no returns accepted.
