When returning from Dobon to balanced bottom fishing, before switching to Dobon, attach a dragonfly (a type of line stopper) to the lower float stopper. This position will become the balanced depth, and returning the float to this position eliminates the need for depth adjustment. Also, when switching to Dobon, you can leave the balanced sinker and float as they are, but if you increase the float size without cutting the sinker, you can get a slower sinking action.
