This was given to me as a hand-me-down, but it is new and unused (with tags, but the tags are bent). I don't see any tears or stains. It doesn't have a hood, so I think it would be perfect for wearing over clothes at daycare or similar places from fall to winter! The fabric feels stretchy, but if your child usually wears a size 100, they might find it snug if you put thick clothing underneath. So, it might be better for a child who usually wears a size 90-95(^^)
