This is a hakoseko (small decorative box) for Shichi-Go-San (a Japanese festival for children). I purchased it from the Ohari Bako website, which sells Japanese accessories. Retail price: 7700 yen This is a one-of-a-kind item made using antique silk. It is very carefully made and cute. You cannot put anything inside.
