The ribbing (cuffs, collar) is made of sweatshirt-like material, and the rest is denim material. There is one thread fray on the ribbing at the waist. *See photos (it doesn't seem to be a problem to cut it, but it's not very noticeable, so I've left it as is.) The metal parts (buttons) have no rust, etc., and the ribbing and denim parts are in good condition, with no deterioration or stains, even though they are vintage. I bought it used a few years ago and ended up never wearing it, storing it in a dark place. There is a slight vintage smell from back then, but if you're used to vintage clothing (that vintage shop smell), or if you're concerned, you can have it cleaned yourself.
