Brand new, unopened condition. The exterior has no rust and is in beautiful condition, just as it was when new. It's designed to play music and flash a lamp, but since I haven't touched it at all, I haven't checked the battery box. The cardboard box has some scuffs and signs of aging. This item is from around 2001.
