Thank you for viewing! This is a tin toy train. I purchased it from an antique shop in Italy, but it was made in India for some reason. It seems to be from the late 1970s, and it's quite chaotic, with unlicensed Disney characters depicted on it. The wind-up mechanism works. The box is severely damaged from the time of purchase, with noticeable tears. The cellophane was applied on the spot by the shop owner there. Thank you!
