Glass eyes from Hand Glass Craft (HGC), a glass eye maker in the UK. Size: 16mm, color: emerald green, with white iris lines. Purchased via personal import over ten years ago. These are paperweight type, and although very difficult to see, the letters "HGC" are embossed on the back of the white part of the eye (see images 4-5). I've forgotten the exact model number, but it's definitely D400 series emerald green. HGC is a very famous doll eye maker, a long-established glass eye maker that mainly produces eyes for bisque dolls, as well as for ball-jointed dolls and bear eyes. Of course, they can also be used for ball-jointed dolls like Super Dollfie. Image 5 is a picture of a doll I own wearing a different color, but please use it as a reference. The irregular and densely packed unique iris lines are delicate and very beautiful, a unique feature of HGC that other glass eye makers cannot imitate. There are multiple air bubbles, but they blend in with the dynamic iris lines and are not noticeable at all. HGC is still in business and can be purchased through online stores, but 16mm eyes seem to cost 50.44 pounds, which is over 10,000 yen. Also, there are few shops in Japan that carry HGC products, making them difficult to obtain. I've only tried them on my dolls two or three times and haven't actually used them for an extended period. There are no noticeable scratches or chips, but please understand that these are used items that have been in someone's possession.
