Inspired by lemonade, I drew this. Painted with acrylic paints on a bean-shaped shikishi board. Originally, from the name "mermaid paper," I imagined a mermaid, and created a painting of the original character, the mermaid Lala, and her sea slug friend Rele, who got lost in the Seto Inland Sea and encountered local specialties and scenery. Each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind.
