I made a tea cozy & pot mat using gray patterned toile de Jouy (French fabric). The outer fabric is a luxurious, slightly thick cotton. It's toile de Jouy depicting scenes of nobles and peasants in chic shades of gray. I added cream-colored tulle lace dyed with tea (pic. 5) for a華やかに look. The lining is cream-colored cotton with a greige damask pattern. (There are slight irregularities due to the tea dyeing, but they are hardly noticeable.) I added a silver-gray, shiny ribbon and a chic gray tassel. The main body has two layers of fluffy quilt batting, providing excellent heat retention. The mat has two layers of stiff interfacing. I also use the same type myself. Photo ② is for reference, showing the atmosphere with a teapot (for 550ml) placed on it.
