It appears to be a Khim from Thailand (or possibly a Santur from Iran).
This item has been stored in a warehouse for a long time.
As I don't think anyone will play it in the future, I am listing it on Mercari to clear out my belongings.
If it's a Khim, it's a type of Thai stringed instrument. It's an instrument that came from China, similar to a yangqin, but smaller and produces a soft sound. The player seems to hold bamboo mallets in both hands and uses them to strike the strings to produce sound.
