This item is the English version! This item is in perfect condition. Only the box is open. Everything else is closed and and never played or used. Trust me, I would love to play this game... I have held onto this box for 10 years hoping to find a group to play with...alas. No luck. It just makes me depressed when I look at it. I can get a group together a few times a year for Catan or Pandemic, but nothing regular enough for such an awesome game like this. I played twice way back before I had to move away. I bought myself a copy hoping to get another group together one day. This game is persistent. The board game changes, and you need the same group of people to play. It's pretty much the coolest board game I've ever tried or heard of, way better than the regular version of Risk, and of all 26 versions constantly listed in the top 3 or top 5 of any Risk list you Google.
