This is a half-width obi made from Yonezawa-ori fabric, a type of tsumugi (pongee) from Saga, with a subdued turquoise blue base. It has been worn about twice, and because it's a very sturdy weave, I don't think there will be any noticeable creasing from tying. There are no visible stains or other noticeable damage. This obi is versatile, suitable for everything from casual kimono to yukata, and I think the color is easy to match stylishly.
