With keyboardist George Duke as producer, the album is full of R&B and funk flavors, creating a danceable sound. The enjoyment of two powerful rhythm sections, the Marcus Miller + Steve Gadd team and the Neil Jason + Steve Jordan team, is also a major attraction. ■ Don't Stop the Music AL4122 1977 ARISTA US pressing The Brecker Brothers' third album, released in 1977. After David Sanborn left after the second album, the sound changed with the large introduction of chorus and strings. ■ Back to Back AL4061 1976 ARISTA US pressing The album that represents the sound of BB is the second album, "Back to Back." The debut work was firmly "fusion jazz that emphasized funkiness," but in this second album, the jazz elements receded, and the pop, funky, and danceable aspects were emphasized, which became the sound of BB from then on. ☆ There are two light "boss sounds" at the beginning of the 4th song on side B. (It seems there are no scratches?) ◎ Joe Farrell ■ Night Dancing Recorded: 1978, Los Angeles P-10577W Warner Pioneer Co., Ltd. Covering famous songs by Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart, and others, gathering a luxurious lineup. A mellow and funky album, overflowing with Joe Farrell's charm, and popular for its jacket. ☆ The record has some signs of use. ◎ Purchased new about 45 years ago, the vinyl bags were removed and stored in a shelf with a door, and there is some deterioration over time (scratches, sun damage, stains, folds). ☆ All three jackets have peeling and black paint on the lower right of the back. ◎ The white line at the bottom center of the record photo is light from the photography and is not actually present. I think it's in beautiful condition. ◎ I have listened to the records for sale and confirmed that they play without problems (no skips or noise from scratches). ☆ Except for the above.
