The linen yarn is given a special, ultra-high twist, and further processed with Omi-zarashi (a traditional Japanese bleaching and finishing technique), creating a very fine crinkle and uneven texture on the fabric. There is only one factory left in Japan that can apply this special twist to the yarn. This unevenness makes the fabric very cool, with minimal contact with the skin. The appearance of the fine crinkles also complements linen very well. Woven carefully and meticulously by a domestic weaver, and then specially kneaded to remove the prickly feel characteristic of linen, resulting in a soft and smooth texture. We are particular about the fabric specifications and processing, and the finished texture has been well-received. The yarn uses 100% raw materials from Belgium, France, and the Netherlands (Flanders region). Everything we sell is basically one-of-a-kind fabric that cannot be obtained elsewhere. Therefore, it will end when it is gone. * We recommend washing the fabric before cutting, considering some shrinkage.
