The hood and fur are both removable. Although it is black, it has a slight sheen, so it doesn't have a dark or heavy feel despite being black. It's a basic down jacket that is very versatile and useful for incorporating into various outfits. When worn, there doesn't seem to be any noticeable damage at first glance, but upon inspection for listing, the following damage was confirmed: - There is a small tear in the fabric at the very bottom of the zipper. (Image 10) - When I took it out for seasonal storage this year, the surface of the fabric appears to have a mottled pattern overall. (Image 11) - I used it frequently, so there is dirt on the collar. It is unclear if it will come off with cleaning. (Image 12) - There is damage due to rubbing on the seams on the inside of the sleeves. (Image 13) It will likely be packed with some compression.
