This is a set of 12 shikishi (art boards) featuring illustrations of my grandmother's favorite characters. The size of each shikishi is 24.2 cm wide x 27 cm tall. The artworks depict seasonal flowers, girls in kimonos, and scenes reminiscent of Japanese folktales. Each piece is meticulously drawn and is one-of-a-kind. All of these works are warm and heartfelt creations. I protected them by carefully wrapping them in plastic wrap for storage, but they will be shipped without the plastic wrap. As these are works from 30 years ago, there are some color changes and scuffs due to age, but you can enjoy them as the unique charm of old pieces. Displaying them in your room, entryway, or on your desk will create a Japanese atmosphere and a cozy space.
