◎ This is a Greco G-40 guitar. It's a Japanese-made guitar from the 70s. It has a distinctive headstock design and a unique pickguard and bridge. The top is spruce, the sides and back are rosewood, and the neck is mahogany. The tuners are old Gotoh tuners with a star mark (see image). Both the neck and body are carefully constructed (see image). In terms of sound, this is subjective, but it has rich overtones and a good volume, making it a very resonant guitar. ◎ Regarding the condition, there are strum marks on the top of the body (see image). There are surface cracks in a few places on the top (see image). There is discoloration from a sticker on the lower part of the body (see image). There is a small chip in the wood at the edge of the soundhole on the 1st string side (see image). The back of the body has thin scratches (see image). There is a chip on the upper edge of the headstock on the right side, and a dent on the left corner (see image). Other than that, there are small dents, scratches, and thin scuffs due to aging, but there are no major scratches, cracks, or damage. Also, there is some lifting of the bridge (see image). The images show the guitar in tune. The metal parts have some metal fatigue, dullness, and discoloration, but there is no extreme rust. The frets also have some metal fatigue, but are generally in good condition. The fingerboard has light playing marks and nail scratches (see image). ◎ The neck has no warping. The string height is approximately 2.0 mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string (with a little room for a 1-yen coin) and approximately 1.6 mm on the 1st string (with a little room for a 1-yen coin). Overall, the string height is low, making it easy to play. The frets have wear of about 30-40% in some places (this is just an estimate), with 60-70% remaining. The wear is mainly in the shape of the strings. ◎ This is a used item, so there may be points that cannot be fully explained or overlooked regarding the detailed condition and scratches. If you are concerned about the details, please refrain from purchasing. Also, due to the aforementioned bridge condition and other signs of aging, it will be treated as a junk item, so please purchase with the understanding that it is a junk item. It is difficult to upload images of all areas, so please use the uploaded images as a reference. ◎ A case is not included. ◎ The guitar will be carefully packed with air caps and cardboard for shipping, so please rest assured.
