I purchased this at an orthopedic clinic when my child was in the 3rd grade of elementary school, and they used it for about three weeks before it was stored at home. The length is adjustable. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but since it was used by a child, there may be some scuffs. Please understand this before purchasing.
