This instrument plays really well and has a very good response. It blends well with others in a wind band or orchestra, making it suitable for ensemble playing, and it's an all-around instrument that won't get lost even in solo performances. Both the valve and slide move smoothly, but if you are concerned, please have it adjusted at your nearest musical instrument store. The instrument has been used with care, but there are some dents from using a mute and some plating wear. It will be shipped in a case that is almost new. It will be packed in cardboard for shipping.
