This unique sewing accessory features 12 charming, Chinese-inspired figures in colorful costumes supporting a pincushion. Each face is subtly different, adding to their cuteness. It also comes with two threaders to easily thread needles with difficult-to-pass thread. This product was made in the early Showa era. I obtained it a few years ago from an antique dealer. Although it is a used item with some signs of age on the bottom of the pincushion, it is unused. The pincushion is semicircular and about 6 cm high, with each figure about 3.5 cm tall. The base has a diameter of about 12 cm. It weighs about 120g. Besides being practical, doesn't it also exude a certain elegance and refinement as an ornament? February 8th is "Needle Memorial Day."
