This is a friction saver that I originally made six years ago using an aluminum figure-eight descender, O-rings, and 12mm nylon rope. It's used as a sling rope (rope length: approx. 1.6m) around the tree to be felled during directional felling. The pulling rope is passed through the figure-eight descender and O-rings, and the end of the rope is secured to a standing tree. By pulling the other end with a pulling tool, the pulling force is halved. After making it, I used it about a dozen times and then stored it indoors without using it. Since I won't be using it in the future, I'd like to offer it to someone who wants it. This product is a set of two pulling rope slings.
