This netsuke was purchased at a flea market in Taiwan about 30 years ago. There is a hole in the bottom for a cord to pass through. There appears to be something like a signature next to the hole, but I don't think it's a real one. The shop owner said it was boxwood, but it's uncertain whether that's true.
