I crocheted a large shawl using a summer yarn that looks like string, using the Shippo (seven treasures) stitch. You can use it loosely and generously. The Shippo stitch is elastic, so when you wear it, the wind passes through, and it feels cool and pleasant against the skin. It's made with a pale, light blue and gray color, and two strands of fine lace yarn are held together. The colors are summery and lovely. It doesn't feel scratchy.
