This is a valuable VHS video tape set produced by NHK, carefully preserved by my grandfather: "The Complete Sumo Encyclopedia: Legendary Wrestlers of the Showa Era," all 11 volumes.
This is a very valuable collection that looks back at the achievements of the great yokozuna who built the golden age of Japanese sumo wrestling with gorgeous footage.
Condition
Video tape itself:
Of the 11 volumes, only the volume of Yokozuna Wakanohana seems to have been used, but the other 10 volumes are in very good condition, almost unused.
Wooden box:
There are no noticeable large scratches or stains, and I think it is in good condition overall for an old item.
Video tape cases:
Due to aging, there are some black stains on the outside and inside of the cases. It is difficult to see in the photos, but there are some scratches. Please check the condition in the images, as many photos are included.
As an old item, it is very rare to find a set that has been left almost unused, making it a rare set.
