This is a National Panasonic transistor radio, model RF-800. AM radio reception is clear and the sensitivity is good. FM radio reception is almost non-existent. There is one spot where a very faint low sound can be heard. It does not operate on batteries; it only works when plugged into a power outlet. The TONE switch on the back of the radio is broken. There is a dent in the center of the front. There is a small chip on the battery case lid. Due to the above issues, this item is being sold as junk. Please be aware of this. The radio cover case is badly damaged with many tears.
