This item was remade from a kimono (coat) by my aunt, who was a dressmaker. It has been washed once before being sewn. The length is just enough to cover the hips, so it can be worn with either pants or a skirt. The fabric is light and smooth, so it won't feel bulky even when layered over a sweater.
