This is the stylish Make-chan. It is believed to have been released approximately 40 years ago. ✴︎ There is a place on the back where batteries would go, but batteries do not fit and it does not appear to be a battery-operated doll. I believe the hair length is adjusted by opening the lid and pulling the bundle of hair. ✴︎ I have opened the item for this listing to check its condition and have disinfected and cleaned the doll itself and its outfit. ✴︎ Doll body Upon close inspection, there are faint scratches all over. Most of the dirt has been removed, but there are some very faint dark spots and stains in places. I don't think there is any discoloration on the body. *Please refer to the images. ✴︎ Outfit Yellowing due to deterioration of the inner elastic band Spot stains on the inside of the dress ✴︎ Hair Deterioration of the rubber band used to tie the braids Deteriorated rubber is attached in some areas * The red ribbon originally attached to the braids had fallen off, so I have attached it with a safety pin. ✴︎ The outer box shows discoloration, fading, tears on the inside, warping, dirt, scratches, etc. ✴︎ Everything shown in the images is included. As this is a very old item, there may be aspects of age-related changes that I have not noticed. Please examine the images carefully and make your decision.
