VULCAIN's "Cricket," the world's first alarm watch, was a favorite of successive U.S. presidents and is known as the "President's Watch." For a while after the war, when the reliability of Japanese-made wristwatches was low, Japanese trading companies imported VULCAIN watches and sold them as imported goods with the catchphrase "Watches are Vulcan." This Studio DELUXE is from that time, before the mass production of mechanical wristwatches, and it has a solid 21-jewel movement. ● Manual winding, no date, and very simple, but if you use it for a long time, you don't have the hassle of setting the date (turning the hands), and you can simply wind the crown and set the time, and then quickly put it on your wrist and go out, making it very convenient. ● The lovely domed crystal is very clean with no major scratches. The gold hands and indexes show no deterioration, and the dial is also in very good condition.
