This tie was purchased by my father around the time of the first collaboration between The Nightmare Before Christmas and Disneyland's Haunted Mansion.
The center of the tie features a wonderful pattern of Jack in his Sandy Claws costume giving a gift and pink flowers to Sally, who is wearing a scarf.
Fittingly for "Pumpkin King," there's also Jack with a terrifying smile holding a pumpkin, Vampire Teddy with a trumpet, and Barrel with a mask.
It's an all-over design with many bats of various sizes woven in.
The base color is a monochrome tone with a subdued brightness of white, and the bright orange of the present ribbons and the pink of the flowers are a stylish accent.
Made in Japan from high-quality, sturdy silk fabric, it's monochrome, but the pattern is clearly woven, so when light hits it, the characters and bats appear to emerge from the black background.

My father removed the tag after purchase and stored it as a collection, unused.
I was given it because I love Nightmare Before Christmas, but I haven't used it because I'm a woman, and it's been stored unused.
It has been moved many times due to moving and spring cleaning.
As mentioned at the beginning, a considerable number of years have passed, so there may be some changes in the texture from the time of purchase.
