This is an otaiko-style Nagoya obi. It consists of a front band that wraps around the waist and a pre-made otaiko section for the back. Like a yukata obi, it has strings attached to the part that wraps around the waist. There are no metal fittings. You simply place it on your back, secure it with a temporary string, and then add an obiage and obijime to complete the shape, ensuring the most attractive part of the pattern is displayed. This obi has separate wings attached to it. The otaiko has been decorated with red flowers for a modern look.
