The sleeves and back feature the same dragon embroidery design, but in different sizes. The chest features the American flag and the flag of South Vietnam, with "HAPPINESS" written instead of the kanji character "福 (fuku - fortune/happiness)". The "viet-nam" font on the back is also unique, making this a very rare vintage specification. The reversible side is made of nylon ripstop camouflage fabric. Faded colored threads are used, and parachute unit embroidery is applied. VIETNAM JACKET Similar to the sukajan that originated in post-war Japan, the souvenir jacket born during the Vietnam War from the 1960s to the 1970s is commonly known as the Viet-Nam jacket. Cotton twill or camouflage poncho liner fabric is mainly used, and the designs are embroidered with thick, matte-colored threads.
