By matching the cutting range, you can replace it with the separately sold two-axis pivot sliding damper or independent sliding damper. These are unnecessary parts attached to the jig to make it easy to template and to fix the stay. You can assemble it as is if there are no cut parts. There are two ways to cut: either attach the jig to the stay, mark it, and cut, or attach the jig as is and cut. In either case, finish with a file at the end. A 100-yen store file is sufficient. The difference from the two-axis is the range of motion. The two-axis has more stability, but this one has more give. This one is also lighter and has a higher recovery rate. However, the two-axis has less wasted movement, so there is less resistance. So, if you prioritize speed, choose the two-axis; if you prioritize recovery rate, choose this one.
