Among core fans, it is said that Levi's Japan wanted to faithfully reproduce the wartime model, but they claimed it was a reproduction of the 1920 model to get as close as possible to the original wartime model. At the time, Levi's USA in the US did not allow the reproduction of laurel leaf buttons and 4-button models, and as a result, it is called a reproduction of the wartime model with the LEVI'S 4-button specification that only existed in the early stages of the wartime model. It was manufactured for only about two years from 98 to 99, and it is a very rare and hard-to-find model that is unlikely to be reproduced in the future.
