This is a djembe made by Afroton, featuring an Iroko wood body from Côte d'Ivoire. The body has been fully customized. The wood is dense, and Iroko is known for its solid low tones and well-defined sound. The main rope uses 5mm nylon rope made in Japan. Durability and ease of tuning are prioritized. The head is made of Guinean goatskin.
