This is a set of two rice bowls from Shiun-gama, a kiln specializing in Arita ware. The design is gorgeous and elegant, with a vibrant red (vermilion) and deep navy blue background, highlighted by a white "hanakarakusa" (floral arabesque) pattern. The base (foot) also features delicate patterns in indigo blue underglaze, showing meticulous craftsmanship down to the smallest details. [Condition] Used (kept at home) No chips, cracks, or crazing.
