SANDOZ Chronograph Valjoux 7733 Movement I am gradually organizing my antique collection. This is a SANDOZ chronograph. The movement is the famous Valjoux 7733 (hand-wound, 17 jewels) chronograph movement. Around 1970, the Valjoux 7733, a successor to the Valjoux 188, added a brake lever to the Valjoux 7730, making it a renowned movement. It features a 2-register layout with a 45-minute counter at the 3 o'clock position, which advances one increment per revolution of the chronograph hand, and a seconds subdial at the 9 o'clock position. The reset function works without issue. It was serviced two years ago, and the accuracy is within 10 seconds per day. The case is a thick 10K or 14K gold-filled case with 10 microns of gold. Many famous watches have used Valjoux movements, including Rolex, Omega, Breitling, Tag Heuer, and Longines (Valjoux 7750). The strap is a Bambi strap. It is in good condition, but please consider the display stand's curling as a bonus. Serviced two years ago. Accuracy is approximately within 10 seconds per day when laid flat.
