This is a mandarin orange bell (Mikan Suzu) made in Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is quite large, with a total length and diameter of 7 cm. Hagi is famous for its mandarin oranges, and this is a replica of their shape. The character for Hagi and the family crest of the Choshu Domain (Hagi Domain) are engraved on it. Comes with a paper box. The paper box shows signs of age due to storage (please refer to the image), but the main item is unused.
