1972 (Showa 47) This is a medal commemorating the 100th anniversary of the railway. The front features the 0 Series Shinkansen (bullet train), and the back features a steam locomotive from Meiji 5. It has the Japan National Railways (JNR) engraving. The medal appears to be in good condition, but the case shows signs of aging, with tape residue, scratches, and dirt.
