This is a Marcato cornet, the now-discontinued CR900 series. There is a single spot of discoloration on the left side of the 1st piston, but it should come off with silver polish or the like, so I've left it as is. Other than that, there are no scratches or dents, and the gold plate and silver plate are in good condition. The pistons and slides move smoothly, and it appears to be in the category of a beautiful item. It has a heavy tone, perhaps due to its solid construction. Despite that, it responds well and I think it can handle any genre. It has been a long time since it was discontinued. If you're looking for one, please take this opportunity.
