RIMOWA Nr. 269 "Amazonas" Aluminum Reporter Case Discontinued, with Key, Lightweight/Medium Size, Rare ■ This case is built to be highly impact-resistant. RIMOWA's box-type camera cases boast high sealing properties that are unaffected by humidity, high temperatures, or extreme cold. This is the old Nr. 267 "Amazonas" reporter case, a lightweight (2.2 kg) mid-size (L40 x D21 x H25cm) model. ■ RIMOWA is famous for its suitcases, but it was RIMOWA that developed the first waterproof camera case in 1976. When traveling by aircraft, there are significant differences in temperature and pressure. Even under such conditions, the high sealing performance ensures not only waterproofness but also moisture resistance, and RIMOWA camera cases are resistant to condensation. A resin inner case is fitted inside the aluminum casing to enhance the protection of precision equipment. ■ The condition shows very slight scratches and minor wear, but the inorganic aluminum surface due to the anodized finish shows its presence, and it maintains a clean silhouette without any noticeable dents or scratches. The interior is also in good condition with a resin inner case, and it has metal feet on the bottom. The original shoulder strap is included. ■ This is a later "Amazonas" model. The latches/keys are the same hook-and-lock specifications as the sturdy "Tropicana" series. Please use it for storing, keeping, and transporting various precision equipment and valuables, in addition to cameras.
