Vintage International Watch Co. Schaffhausen automatic watch. I haven't opened the case back, but it's probably 18k gold. I recently inherited this watch from my grandfather, who passed away over 30 years ago. It has scratches from aging, and it probably hasn't been serviced since my grandfather died. When I wind the crown, it ticks and runs more smoothly than yesterday, and I haven't noticed any time drift so far. The strap is West German made and says "pulled gold." I, an amateur, measured it with a tape measure: Length: Approximately 44mm Width: Approximately 34mm (excluding the crown) I'm not very knowledgeable about watches, and I don't think I'll use it, so I'm listing it for someone who can appreciate and use this precious watch while it's running.
